Celebrating 150 Years ![]() Wow!! 150 years! Yes...St. John’s is celebrating its sesquicentennial in 2012. All year long we will be seeing and hearing about how St. John’s Church was founded by a dozen families and now has grown to serve over 1,000. The small white frame structure has given way to the beautiful church, Christian Education wing and office building that we now have. The focus of our sesquicentennial celebration will be on Sunday, August 26, 2012. The day will begin with church services. A noon potluck meal at the SLICE on Monroe’s west side with games for the children and a band for musical entertainment. More information on the days activities will be announced in the coming weeks. But for now, mark your calendar for Sunday, August 26 and join in the activities celebrating St. John’s 150 years. |

Kroehnke of Rock Run, IL. The fruits of their labors have far surpassed the bounds of their hopes and imagination. more...
